Mr. Stewart is an avid teacher.  He received his Bachelors of Music From the Eastman School of Music in violin performance, Bachelors of Arts from the University of Rochester in Mathematics, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching  Music from Lehman College.  Curtis currently teaches violin and theory at the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, and does improvisation workshops all around New York City .  In addition to beginner, intermediate, and advanced violin lessons, Mr. Stewart specializes in applying advanced classical technique to improvisational skills, and visa versa.
